"People in today's society read less than they did 15 or 20 years ago, because of many different reasons. Today's lifestyle calls for one to be busy for 3/4 part of the day. (ie) 5 am wake up get ready for work, get the kids up, and get them ready for school. Prepare lunch for you and for kids. Prepare breakfast for the family, get kids off to school on time, and self to work.
Work 8 hours, come home, run errands, help kids with homework, prepare dinner, contact family and friends. Enjoy dinner and a nice movie with the family, talk over daily issues with spouse, get younger kids clothes ready for school, and make sure the older kids got there clothes ready."

"Check over kids homework, clean up the kitchen and other parts of the house. Then get on the computer to check E-mails, update social networks, and complete unfinished work from the job. Get your own clothes together for next work day, do the laundry, and talk over issues with the kids before putting them to bed. Before you know it is bed time and 5 a.m. comes quickly.
